Retro Voice Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Retro Voice mobile application (the "App"), website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by RetroVoice ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of your voice recordings, journal entries, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process it as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., transcription, AI summarization, storage).

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that it does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes.
• Upload harmful content (e.g., viruses, hate speech).
• Interfere with the Service or servers.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or access source code.
• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free, pro and premium features via subscription. Pro, Premium subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play). No refunds except as required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including AI models and features (excluding your User Content), is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your license ends, but surviving provisions remain in effect.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or any amount exceeding fees paid by you in the prior 12 months.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
